Hi guys,

I hope that you can help me.

I'm trying to find an old/er version of "GPS Viewer, version 1.4.0" to play/view my "SENEO" brand dashcam videos.
Not sure but I think they come from blackview.....? (NOTE: Nothing found on their site....Probably too old a version.)

I did have it but struck trouble with Google Maps, so tried a later version...v2.0.
(The one time I neglected to save the .exe file for version 1.4.0)

This version 2.0 dos not display all the features/options (GPS co-ords etc.,) correctly, so is pretty useless.

I've tried a few of the archives sites but nothing relevant is available.

Do you have any ideas as to what I can try?

Thanks.

There is no 1.4 version listed in the update logs on the blackvue site. There is a 2.01 version and a 1.22 version.

GPS Viewer by Panasonic, not Blackvue

If you have the new version executable, then try to virus total it.

Virus Total

That may tell you the software development company.

Limpet235,

I am not clear as to whether you are talking about the "app" or the "firmware". Beyond what morat has supplied maybe try the "Download: App & Viewer" at " https://blackvue.com/downloads/ ". Click the " + " on the right side, then click "BlackVue Legacy Viewer (Windows/Mac)", and that finally leads you to a choice of Windows or Mac.

I do not understand the relationship between the firmware and the above listed app but the firmware downloads are listed on the same page if they are somehow needed. Like morat said there is not a version 1.4 amongst the firmware---but there are some versions 1.004, 1.044, and 1.045.

BlackVue Legacy Viewer (Windows/Mac) filename: blackvuesetup(hd)e_2.58.zip

There is no 2.58 version listed in the update logs on the blackvue site.

Earliest internet archive of the legacy page has version 2.44

Many thanks to you both for trying, but it appears that my old version 1.4.0 of GPS Viewer is no longer available.

Stuck with version 2.0 which sort of works with a few weird displays.

Compass needle is displaying upside down & the Google Maps will not display at all.

Leaflet Map does work though.

Thanks again..
