Windscribe Not Allowing to Disable Popups for Notifications

I get a popup in firefox about allowing notifications from some websites. When I go into options to try to disable all notifications I see that option greyed out. Under that it says windscribe is controlling that feature and gives an option to disable it that reads: "Block new requests asking to allow notifications."

But I dont want to disable windscribe. How do I fix this?

Seems that would be a question for Windscribe's support as the message is not coming from Firefox.
