Extensions Issues - Not showing up in top bar

Post by FredBroc »

Hello. I'm using Firefox 113.0.2 which it says is up to date. I am wondering why my extensions do not have icons showing in the bar at the top of the window on the right.

This became a problem just now when I installed the "Flash and Video Download" extension. It instructs me to click on the icon for the app in the bar to download a You Tube video. But there is no icon there. I can click on the icon in the Extensions drop down menu but it gives me the "Hmmm...no videos or flash files here..." error box even though I have a video playing in another window which I want the app to see and download.

I'm not sure if this is maybe a problem with the extension or a problem with Firefox. Any helpful insights would be most appreciated.

Does the extensions button work correctly after disabling the "Flash and Video Download" addon and restarting the app?

You can click a gear button in the extensions button popup, then click the "Pin to Toolbar" menu item to add an addon button to the nav bar.

Manage your extensions using the extensions button in the toolbar
