When I highlight an incoming email so as to delete it, much of it (but not the content) appears in the lower window; I see who sent it, etc..
I'm wondering if my highlighting it causes them to see that I received it thereby validating the address?
Ideally I'd like it to just delete without it appearing in the lower window. Can do?
Can sender see that I have read their email?

I think you can achieve that if you click on another message so it shows in the lower window then right-click and select delete for the offending message.Kerrith1 wrote:When I highlight an incoming email so as to delete it, much of it (but not the content) appears in the lower window; I see who sent it, etc..

Update 6/12/23: It works. I wasn't "right clicking." Thanks muchly.
