Automatically add new e-mail accounts to unified folders

Post by postcd »

Hello,

after adding new e-mail accounts i expected it will automatically appear in unified folders like Inbox, Sent, Trash, Junk but no i had to right click each unified folder, Properties, Choose, and tick right tick boxes which means tens and tens of unnecessary clicks.
I think that the default action should be automatically adding new accounts to all unified folders.

I've never had to do that. However lots of people have problems with Unified Folders due to corrupted save search folders. The workaround is to exit Thunderbird, delete the smart mailboxes child directory in ..\Mail in the profile and restart. That creates a replacement smart mailboxes directory configured to include all of your accounts.
