So I have a color conflict. By default if you select a message background is blue and text is white.
tags are great but sometimes if you have a bunch of color tags it makes the index confusing. So I create a tag with just black text and the only want to distinguish it by the tag column.
Unfortunately, if this criteria matches, it results in a black row block.
Name1 (tag is defined):
black color
criteria
-If unread
-tag as Name1
- when you highlight the message in the inbox
- since the tag is black, the text is black
- the highlight is also black
result:
- the entire line is black and unreadable.
Question?
-is there a way to use the default highlight rather than the tag highlight? To me it kinda a makes more sense to have a highlight color global than follow the tag highlight color. especially if you have the tag column showing. One highlight to rule them all
This was one possibility but I don't want to make the text any other color than black (grey just makes it harder to read).
Observations:
- if you change the tag color to lighter when the message is read it shows lighter against the default white background.

Re: thunderbird - tag color conflict
Moved from Thunderbird Builds to Thunderbird Support as this question doesn't seem to be specific to a beta or daily build.
