How to make TB use colours from KDE theme

Post by mogplus8 »

Hi All,
I'm sure this question must have been asked before, but I have not been able to find anything.
I'm using Fedora 38 with KDE Plasma desktop, and TB 102.10.0. I've installed "Nordic" global theme, and I would like TB to use the same colours as the theme, so everything looks consistent, but I have not been able to discover how to get TB to use the theme's colours. I've tried changing the "widget.use-xdg-desktop-portal.file-picker" (and the other three that start with widget.use-xdg-desktop-portal in the Config Editor) to true (assuming "1" means true) but that didn't change anything.
Is there a way to do this?
All advice gratefully received.

Open about:config and search for theme. Keep paper notes of any changes if they don't help.
Sometimes it may need to close Firefox and re-open it.
There are a number of "widget" items which may be set to true or false which affect the use of a theme.
There used to be an item in about:config to use the system theme. If Nordic is the system theme see if it's still there.
Theme problems can usually be solved in the "Extensions and Themes" forums
About:config is lower on the /settings/general page as Config
Doesn't matter what you say, it's wrong for a toaster to walk around the house and talk to you
