Re: (Reverted) Forum update downtime on Monday 4/11
I believe I have fixed the login issues on the staging board. I've switched the caching mechanism, and in my testing this afternoon I am no longer getting logouts every time I do something. ACP access for admins is also fixed and no longer kicks you back to the board index (on HTTP)
HTTPS seems to be working for normal users, but accessing the ACP still has problems.
I am continuing to investigate issues with moderation tools.

Hmm in Fx 99 even with clearing all mozillaZine cookies I could not get logged in on staging on http:// after several tries, however https:// worked on first try. Then got logged out when I tried to check unread posts or get logged out in viewing a thread.
Yeah still cannot get to ACP whether by ACP or Administrate User on an account, just kicks me to index. Though I stayed logged on during those attempts. The MCP works fine.

Guest posts now need post approval and works great as four have been disapproved so far. Thanks for that little change on this forum.

ACP seems to be working fine now whether by ACP link or by Administrate user.

I do not mean logged out right away when loading anything like before as simply logging in and clicking something is not a test to say it works fine. It can be when saying going to ACP or something after working fine in loading things for a while.

I have logging-out problem only when I open e.g. a thread in a separate tab. It does not happen when browsing the forum using classic "click on the thread - read the content - click somewhere else or hit ""Back"" approach.

Ran across a post needing approval over at the staging site. Obvious spam. I was able to deactivate the account and disapprove the post without getting logged out or the request ignored. Seems to work very well.
Any update on how OSU testing is coming along? Thanks again for your effort!

Considering the posts on the performance of the change of the forum from HTTP to HTTPS.
This should be of interest as it appears the change may become universal and cause more issues.
