YouTube Live Chat not showing.

Greetings.
This is my first post and I'm facing a problem that I faced some time back which made me pause my use of SeaMonkey browser.
I've today installed the latest release and still have a problem while watching YouTube in that the Live Chat does not display.
Whilst the video is playing, an error message

" Oh no! It looks like you're using an older version of your browser. Please update it to use live chat. "

is displayed where the Live chat should be visible to the right of the page.

Any help will be appreciated.

You may find that spoofing the user agent string will help with that issue. See this thread for info -- viewtopic.php?f=40&t=3101386&p=14940841&hilit=user+agent#p14940841

I'm not a techy, but I'll try what's suggested in that thread and give a feedback.

To fix that you need this - viewtopic.php?p=14914645#p14914645

The general concept of about:config and making site specific overrides is all explained 2 posts above that.

Just tested a liverstream for you in YT and Live Chat (and everything else in YT) is all working fine me, using that override..
