active private window does not open bookmark link

Post by Justinh »

I don't recall this happening in the past. If you open a bookmark from the Library window, it opens in the last active normal tab, even if the last active tab was in a private window. Is this by-design?

Confirmed.
Though I can't say if that is a changed behavior (as I rarely use Bookmarks Manager or bookmarks for that matter).

What makes it even more odd, is that if you open an external link, an external link will open in the last active window - even if that window was a Private Window. (And that is a [fairly recent - recent as in, oh, don't know, say the past year] behavior change.)
Fire 750, bring back 250.
