Seamonkey on linux, how to get an email client icon

Post by paul4 »

Hi

I have a new computer as of this morning, and am using Linux Mint 21.3 (previously Mint 17.3)

I have installed Mozilla Build of Seamonkey, and I have successfully migrated all my email data from my old computer. :)

Problem is that the only way I can see to access my email data is by Window/Mail & Newsgroups on Seamonkey, whereas I would like a separate launch icon on my desktop going straight to Seamonkey email. I had this before but cannot fathom how to do it.

Help please :D

Hi Paul, either do this - https://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopi ... #p14974841

or you can do a Linux desktop shortcut with this at the end -

seamonkey -mail
