Hi Grumps....
Perhaps you mis-read my comment...
> "BUT, this is a NEW WIN10 desktop PC & is just 12 months old.
Professionals put it al together in their shop. $1,200.00 AUD."

I don't need a another new PC.

I still blame M$ for their damn meddling & installing updates against my will.
I only have it set for Security Updates & they keep chucking their crap in & causing problems....like this one.

@Limpet235 - Sorry, some of us are just too dopey to give up.
I have a laptop which was one of the dedicated Microsoft computers with unfiltered access from HP and Microsoft. It's now an updated Linux system. ](*,)

Seeing as this occurs in any/every Windows program, I'm moving it to the Tech Forum.

Restart your computer into Safe Mode.
(Try Safe Mode both with & without Networking.)
Does that change anything?

Add a second User account.
Does that second User account display the same symptoms.
Fire 750, bring back 250.

Hi "therube,"
I've tried Safe Mode in both....etc., etc....Same result.

The only thing left is to re-install WIN10.....but am not really sure what will be left or deleted.
I've got a lot of paid for programs.

I've gotta contact the "builders" tomorrow & find out what they entered for my LOCAL Window's Account.
Windows keeps asking to enable Defender, but I haven't got my MS log in Acct.
Also going to ask about the installation disk they used & if I can have it..
