Beta 127.0b5 here ... but something is strange ... ?

Post by Dschinn1001 »

Hello here is Thunderbird Beta 127.0b5 ... Installation went smooth.
But how do I adjust download size of emails at email-account (gmail.com) ?
It is strange, at beginning only at maximum 100 or 130 emails were downloaded ?
Now it is only 1 or 2 emails, which are downloaded ?!

I want to download all emails in inbox at gmail.com - for this I need to put size to maximum.
But how ? Which file do I need to edit ?
Thank you.

There is no setting in Thunderbird for that as it controlled on the server side by Google. At some point, determined by them, data download is throttled back to allow them to balance the load on their systems.

Hello

https://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopi ... 9&t=768895
Are you ? under pop, if yes, try
Go to https://mail.google.com and connect.
Then, Top right, Settings > See all settings. Click the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.
Disable POP protocol.
Then, at the bottom of the page, click on Save changes.
Enable POP protocol.
Then, at the bottom of the page, click on Save changes.

Otherwise, my feedback, apparently, is that I don't see difficulty.

@Agent virtuel : Thank you - this helped, but only one thing ... the new downloaded messages are not displayed ?
They are not visible ? It seems that download is running in background.
