I depend on the ability to view all events in the search box above the calendar grid, in order to maintain my calendar.
The option has disappeared since version 117-122.
How can I get this functionality back long term?
118-onwards, how can I View All events in Calendar search box like before?

"Events and Tasks" on the Menu bar and check "Find Events". If the Menu Bar is not showing right-click in the bar above the tabs (the bar with the handful of icons and the three bar hamburger) and check Menu Bar. You can close the Menu Bar after you have enabled the "Find Events" option if you don't need it.

This topic is 8 years old, but I'll post anyway.
Gone Postal - you didn't fully understand the OP's question. He wasn't asking how to "find events" or where the "find events" button was. I think he knows how to use that. Instead he was specifically asking how to find "ALL EVENTS". SInce I'm new to Thunderbird calendar (today), I don't know the history, but he seems to be saying that the functionality was in TB 117-122. It's definitely not in TB 128.
I asked the same question in a more explicit manner here:
https://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=3123306
Discussion should continue on that topic I think, since it's 2024, not 2008.

Perhaps you haven't fully used the Search Events option when the focus is on the calendar tab. When that search box is showing, between the box and the calendar data there is a small (couple of lines) box listing in chronological order all of the events in the calendar. I'm using v129 Beta but the same functionality has been there for a long time IIRC. There is a handle to drag the bottom of the list of events down so that you can see many more then the couple of lines originally showing.sunbirdfan wrote: ↑July 18th, 2024, 10:09 pm This topic is 8 years old, but I'll post anyway.

Check this out to see what has happened since January:
https://github.com/Betterbird/thunderbi ... issues/251
TL;DR: Thunderbird kept considering, and then changing their mind and BetterBird agreed to fix the issue for their version 128.
It's ready to download and try.

Hi,
I have version 130 and I still don't see the "all events" option on the list
is it possible that they will fix it?
