For the first time ever I've noticed that my OAuth2 credentials became invalid after I upgraded to Thunderbird 128.2.3esr (64-bit). They worked with version 128.2.1.
That's extremely weird and alarming but I wouldn't be surprised if it were Microsoft's issue.
Gmail is not affected.
