Bookmark Search in SeaMonkey?

Post by rsbrux »

Does SeaMonkey handle Bookmark Search the same way Firefox does?
I am looking for an alternative to Firefox that shows the path of the found bookmarks in the Bookmarks hierarchy.
There have been many requests to implement this in Firefox, but they seem not to get any traction.

I am unclear about your question. Are you talking about searching for and finding a bookmark and then having its "Location" also indicated (such as " h t t p s://forums.mozillazine.org/ ")? If so there is a "Location" column available in both Firefox and SeaMonkey---at least in the Windows versions. If that is not what you are talking about please clarify your query.

I think this is about showing the path of the entry inside the bookmarks, say "Bookmarks Toolbar → Random sub-folder → Bookmark Entry".

If so, I think this is bug 56418:
