Internal translator not playing nicely

Hello there:

does this post belong here on on the Mozilla web forum?
I did post one there with regards to the development of the translator...

I've come across an issue with it, I'm using Firefox portable 131, the translator is built in, where Russian is concerned ( haven't tried on another language webpage) the translator appears to have an issue where the website display is concerned, when the translator is active this causes the website layout to be entirely disarranged, deactivate the translator & the layout returns to normal. One reactivates the translator again & the webpage is once again upset.

any thoughts?

the translator is Mozilla in-house produced, Google has no part in it.
