Yes, it's amazing that nothing else even comes close to FF.

I use Wunderground a lot which is okay, but it's a website that you have to go to, more steps. FF is right there, instantly available, customized how you want it.

:turn-l: Thank you, thank you, thank you to Nitallica and those who pointed out getting your city code and someone mentioned latitude and longitude.

I thought I had it at first, as it showed my home town name, but had Birmingham, Alabama's forecast. Very strange.

Adding the lat/long to the page of code that Nitallica provided was the ticket! YAY to have ForecastFox back! =D>

When reloading the deleted program, you have to deny some type of update that is sent as a .txt file, as I believe it undoes everything you've done. If you haven't deleted the program, that may not happen.

I'd take that other weather program and toss it out the window if I could. #-o I can't believe no one else has ever developed another good weather program.

Hi,

I have Forecastfox Fix installed and it is showing as "working".
There is a problem however. It seems to default to NY and even when I change the location in the forecast bar to my location or any other location it still gives me the forecast for NY.

I HAVE SAME ISSUE AND CAN NOT CHANGE LOCATION
IF THE CHANGE LOCATION IS SELECTED THE RESULT IS A SPINNING WHEEL AND NO SELECTION CAN BE MADE.

The previous page contains what worked for the rest of us, particularly these 3 reponses:

viewtopic.php?p=14973423#p14973423

Please try those, then update this thread with your results. Thanks!

HI all,,,,, I have a workaround to change from NYC;
in options, scroll down to previous locations
click on the checkmark box that is already checked by a red check
a dialog box opens showing NYC
back that off and put in your total home address
click enter
you now at least have weather at your location

I hope I could be of help here, bye for now!

The location bar when click on states Oops! Something went wrong.
This page didn't load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details.
Does anybody have a fix?

this extension is 4 years old, and this can happen because of this.
i dont use his extensions, you may try a new profile for testing purpose, same issue?
if so, then there exist no solution.
