Code: Select all

d0cbbd5d8c47fe36ee8f26fb1255838c *Firefox Setup 1.5.exe
d0cbbd5d8c47fe36ee8f26fb1255838c *Firefox Setup 1.5rc3.exe

This is Win32, en-US. So if you have RC3, don't waste bandwidth getting FF-1.5. They are the exact same, byte for byte.

@Uncle S, download the 2005112903 installer, then change the release channel afterwards to avoid downloading all those partials.

What do you do with your profile for firefox 1.07? Do you delete it then install firefox 1.5 or just install firefox 1.5 overtop of your 1.07 profile?

Well we've got to share the day with KDE but I think we can overshadow them. :)
Heck it seems it comes with Firefox 1.0.7. :P

No, the reason is a bug that exists in RC3 that was just fixed today:
#317623 [mozilla.org:Server Operations]-Stage should not be a major point of failure for AUS [All] (no incremental update)

Totaly clean, new profile....

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5 - Build ID: 2005111116

Same here. Had problems, though, connecting to Mozilla Update to get some of my extensions. As of this writing, that site is REALLY slow! The same goes for the MozillaZine Forums (Got a couple of "Can't connect" messages at one point).

Why not 2051129 instead of 2051111?

I was thinking that, too. If there is really know difference between 2051111 and 2051129, why not use the latest build number. If for no other reason than continuity.

there was an 20051116 or 20051611 I thought was supposed to have fixed a few things. I didnt think that 20051111 was the final.

Following the logic of prior download URLs (http://download.mozilla.org/?product=fi ... lang=en-US, http://download.mozilla.org/?product=fi ... lang=en-US), I downloaded what I think is the final 1.5 release from: http://download.mozilla.org/?product=fi ... lang=en-US

which reports as Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5

I would like to wait till ALL Localised versions are available before saying It's released ... I'm just like that as there isn't a GB-version of RC3 yet :-({|=
